TakeBigFive is a free online personality test based on the Big Five model of personality. We built it because most free personality tests either sort people into rigid boxes or ask for an email address before showing any results.
What we believe
- Your core results should be free. The full test, your five trait scores, your type and your share card are free and always will be.
- Your answers are yours. The test is scored in your browser. We don't need an account, an email or your name.
- Be honest about what a test can do. A personality test is a tool for reflection. It isn't a diagnosis or a verdict on who you are.
How we keep it free
The site is a simple static website that costs very little to run. In the future we may offer optional in-depth reports, for example on relationships or careers. They'll be clearly labeled, and nothing that's free today will be moved behind a paywall.
